1. Who we are

This website is operated by Fine Cut Furniture S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Principală 136, Giarmata, Timiș county, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under no. J35/1067/2018, CUI RO39120177 (hereinafter “FCF”, “we”).

2. Definitions

Client — the natural or legal person who submits a request or a configuration, or places an order. Configurator — the online tool that lets you compose an indicative piece of furniture. Estimate — an indicative, informative price. Firm quotation — the document issued by FCF after verifying the details, setting out the final price and conditions. Made-to-order product — furniture produced according to the specifications and dimensions chosen by the Client.

3. Configurator, estimates and prices

The prices shown in the configurator and in estimates are indicative and informative in nature. They do not constitute a firm offer and do not oblige FCF to conclude a contract at the price displayed.

The final price is established exclusively through the firm quotation, after verification of the configuration, of the materials available and, where applicable, after the on-site survey. Prices may vary depending on the availability and cost of materials, hardware and accessories at the time of the order.

4. The Client's responsibility for the configuration and dimensions

The Client is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted through the configurator or the forms, including for dimensions, layout, materials, colours, the positioning of appliances and of the services (water, gas, electricity, ventilation).

• The configuration and dimensions chosen online serve as a starting point; they do not replace a professional survey.
• For firm orders, FCF recommends and, as a rule, carries out a final on-site survey; this prevails over the dimensions entered online.
• FCF is not liable for discrepancies, additional costs or delays resulting from incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date data provided by the Client.
• If production is carried out, at the Client's express request, on the basis of dimensions supplied by the Client without a survey by FCF, responsibility for the fit within the space lies with the Client.

5. Order, deposit and payment

The order is deemed firm upon signature of the quotation/contract and payment of the agreed deposit. The standard deposit is set out in the quotation and is deducted from the total value.

For the on-site consultation (travel to the client) a deposit of 500 lei / areamay be charged, which is deducted in full from the quotation if the collaboration continues.

Payment methods: online bank card (secure 3-D Secure processing via an authorised payment processor), bank transfer/payment order, or cash at our premises, as agreed. An invoice is issued for every payment. Card payments are processed exclusively by the payment provider; FCF does not store card details.

6. Production, delivery and installation

The production lead time is stated in the quotation and starts running from confirmation of the order, receipt of the deposit and validation of all technical details. Delivery can be made “flat-packed” (installation the Client's responsibility) or “with installation included”, according to the option in the quotation. Risk passes to the Client on acceptance of the products.

7. Warranty

The products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity under Legea 449/2003 (Romanian Law 449/2003) and OUG 140/2021, as well as from any commercial warranties stated in the quotation. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, excessive moisture, unauthorised interventions or modifications carried out by third parties.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Under art. 16 lit. c) of OUG 34/2014, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the Client's specifications or clearly personalised (bespoke furniture). By placing an order for personalised furniture, the consumer acknowledges that the product cannot be returned on the basis of the right of withdrawal, except in cases of non-conformity.

9. Acceptance and complaints

Any visible non-conformities must be reported on acceptance. Complaints are to be sent to info@finecutfurniture.ro or to 0799 689 358. Consumers may also contact ANPC (the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection,anpc.ro) and the European Commission's ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

10. Force majeure, applicable law and amendments

FCF is not liable for non-performance caused by force majeure. These conditions are governed by Romanian law; disputes are settled amicably or by the competent courts at FCF's registered office. FCF may update these conditions; the applicable version is the one published on the date of the order.

2. What data we collect

• Identification and contact data: surname, first name, phone, email, address (for delivery/surveys) and, for companies: name and CUI.
• Project data: the configuration and dimensions submitted, material preferences, indicative budget, your messages.
• Booking data: the type of meeting, the date/time chosen, the address of the visit.
• Payment data: processed exclusively by the authorised payment processor; we do not store your card number. We retain only the confirmation and the invoicing data required by law.
• Technical data: generated automatically through cookies (see section 7).

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to requests and estimates, bookings — pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Performance of the contract for the supply/installation of furniture (art. 6(1)(b)).
• Legal obligations — invoicing, accounting, taxation (art. 6(1)(c)).
• Legitimate interest — improving our services, website security, defending our rights (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies (art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Who we disclose data to

We may pass on data, strictly for the purposes above, to: courier/transport companies, the installation team, the payment processor, our hosting and IT services provider, accountancy and the authorities (ANAF, the Romanian tax authority) where the law requires it. They process the data as processors, under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your data.

5. How long we keep the data

We keep data for as long as the purpose requires: requests without an order — as a rule up to 12 months; contractual and invoicing data — for the period laid down by tax and accounting legislation (as a rule 10 years). Once that period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure (“the right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability, objection and the right to withdraw your consent, as well as the right not to be subject to automated decision-making. You can exercise your rights by writing to us at info@finecutfurniture.ro. You have the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP (the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, dataprotection.ro).

7. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and, with your consent, analytics cookies. The contact page includes an embedded Google Maps map, which may set Google's own cookies when it loads. You can manage your preferences from your browser settings.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encrypted transmission, restricted access). No system is 100% secure, but we take security seriously.
